The Trentham Little Gallery has finally come back home to a fabulous new space. What started out as a small renovation became a major rebuild. Thankfully the Little Gallery team were able to find a pop up shop just down the road for the 18mths whilst the new home came to fruition and it was well worth the wait...what a fabulous light filled space!

Support from RAV during Covid lockdown for Research

29/12/2020

When Victoria was hit hard back in July by COVID19 and most of the States businesses closed, I was lucky enough to receive a grant from Regional Arts Victoria to support research into Soluble Salts and Translucent Porcelain. This grant allowed me the funds to pay for materials and time to do research into what effects can be achieved at different temperatures and to play around with the possibilities of translucency. I began with basic slip cast forms at lower temperatures and then moved to porcelain  cocoon and hand-built forms. For images of the soluble salt works go to the images gallery.
