The Rise Up Project 2026 will create Community, Connection and Art while providing Awareness and Funds for Domestic Violence Agencies and Projects that support Victims of Domestic Violence. No experience is necessary to participate in these workshops in Bacchus Marsh.
During two 90 minutes classes you will create two ‘Marching Women’ sculptures from clay. These will be Raku fired for you. One is for you to keep and the other one to donate for sale in the ‘Rise Up’ Exhibition (date and venue to be confirmed). Proceeds from the sale will go to Projects to support victims of Domestic Violence.
Have Fun, Learn, Connect, Create, be part of something wonderful and exhibit your ‘Marching Woman’ sculpture as part of a large installation and help raise FUNDS to support Victims of Domestic Violence.
Cost for the workshop is $60 (+small booking fee)
Rise Up 2026 is supported by a Moorabool Shire Community Grant.
Workshops were held over April and May and June 2026 and over 200 sculptures were made and are now being fired ready for the exhibition to be held at St Anne's Winery in Myrniong on September 12 -13 - more details to follow....
